Directions
Gruene Texas is located on the banks of the Guadalupe River between San Antonio and Austin, just north of New Braunfels.

From Austin:
Take IH 35 south past San Marcos – Exit 191
Turn right at the light (HWY 306)
Take 306 to Hunter Rd (2 nd stop light after you turn onto 306, 1.3 miles)
Turn left onto Hunter Rd and go .6 miles to Gruene
Hunter Rd will dead into Gruene Hall, turn left onto Gruene Rd
Continue .3 miles Gruene River Inn will be your right. It is a two story building with parking underneath. Two large boulders mark the entrance to the parking area.

From San Antonio:
Take IH 35 north to New Braunfels – take Exit 189
Turn left onto HWY 46 (Loop 337)
Turn right at intersection of HWY 46 and Commons St. (you will see Rudy's BBQ)
Go to the traffic light (corner of Commons and Gruene)
Turn left onto Gruene Rd continue for approx. 1 mile
Gruene River Inn will be your left. It is a two story building with parking underneath. Two large boulders mark the entrance to the parking area.

From Houston:
Take IH 10 to Seguin
Take New Braunfels (HWY 46) Exit
Stay on HWY 46 and pass under IH 35
Continue to the intersection of HWY 46 and Commons St. (you will see Rudy's BBQ)
Turn right.
Go to the traffic light (corner of Commons and Gruene)
Turn left onto Gruene Rd continue for approx. 1 mile
Gruene River Inn will be your left. It is a two story building with parking underneath. Two large boulders mark the entrance to the parking area.
